Uni tomorrow...

October 5, 2026.

It's almost 1am again, and I start Uni tomorrow.. How scary. I need to be up at 5am to get ready since I take a while and I'm really dreading that. Especially since I've spent all summer in a terrible sleep schedule and I haven't fixed it yet...

Aside from that though, im looking forward to uni quite a lot but I feel really sick thinking about it too. I'm excited because I just really love the mundane things, like sitting on the train listening to music, running errands or sitting in a lecture trying to pay attention. Just going back into a routine and living my life is nice. I have a birthday dinner at the end of the month to go to, and I need to rebuy film for my instax. I'm looking forward to buying a protein shake and some sushi from Spar. I also want to stop and grab some things for self-maintenance before going home and I honestly can't wait to just walk back to the train station to catch the train home too. I hate the fact that its not sunny anymore because the sun makes all of these activities so much better....
The things that are making me dread uni are overshadowing all of this, but I can't measure how much yet. I don't know if its overtaking my mood, or just somewhere in my mind :p. I really don't like the idea of just being seen by people I don't want to see, the people that I don't like and caused me stress to no end in first year. It really sucks to see the nice people I know post with them on Instagram. I see so many stories with people who I really hate. It makes it worse when some are in my cohort at University and I run the risk of seeing them then. I'm eternally grateful that in place of them, I met so many lovely people!!! Seeing that people were making plans with me months before I was even meant to start commuting makes me so happy, and many of my friends offered their accomodations for me to hang with them when they found out I was commuting before summer started. Feeling so #Healed.
My biggest concern from everything is that I hope I don't get sick again this week. Last year, I didn't even go anywhere that could've made me unwell, and I got sick in the first week and that sickness became something that had me bedridden for weeks. I don't know what it was and since then I had a permanent shift in my personal health. I took antibiotics for a couple weeks since my health declined and I was having persistent fever symptoms, but I'm all better now. I just really don't want to fall behind again!! I barely passed my first year!!
For now I just want to get ahead while I can, and organise my studying and my life. I'm excited to add more updates to miet as my brain has been bursting with ideas but with nowhere for them to go since I've been so busy.

to conclude... Lets all #Heal
