Kitty vet trip...

The title honestly says everything you need to know.. My recently adopted kitty, who I have yet to introduce to miet cafe as my cute little mascot, got his bawls chopped off...

Honestly, the entire day before his neuter (so the 29th, his neuter was 30th) I was worried sick about him. I did a bunch of research on neutering and thankfully, it's a non-invasive procedure and isn't as daunting as spaying for female cats. I was still so paranoid because of the slim chance he'd have a complication with anaesthesia. He did well though!! The morning of taking him was the worst though. I'm still feeling bad about how we tried to get him in the carrier since we couldn't give him food pre-op. He was crying all morning for food and then we had to pick him up and place him vertical in his carrier headfirst. He was very stressed on the way to the vet when my parents and brother took him.

He left at 9am and came back at around 4pm. He was so energetic and honestly I was so stressed for him because he shouldn't be jumping around so much because of his neuter wound (T_T). We tried getting a cute little soft collar on him, but he ended up kicking it off lol. I'll put a picture of him at the end of this diary entry. His new cone collar, which he's kinda getting used to, should be taken off in 24 hours apparently, which I don't trust but my parents insist to follow it anyway. I guess I'll update on him as time passes. We're going to the cinema on the 1st of August and I hope he's not too fussy about his collar when we go.

To conclude: My kitty is a fiend for food.
